I really love this Eames Frame Serigraph print in that vintage orange and black combo from House Industries, and I found a bunch of other stuff I really like in their shop:
This Eames House building blocks set is perfect for your future architect kid!
These maple screen prints are really sharp looking, they remind me of my "Knock On Wood" that I had done with Gocco, think I should do a silkscreen version of it...
Every designer I know is inspired by Alexander Girard, and this book is a real gem! This book It is a limited edition of 1000, each copy is signed and numbered, I'm getting mine now!!!

My Favorite Logo of the Moment
The U + J logo. The subtlety of the U is so perfect, it cleverly represents the collaboration between Jil Sander and Uniqlo. It is harmonious and simply beautiful! I love the spring collection too!

Color Inspirations
I am in love with these bright but slightly off color palette from Balenciaga's Fall '10 collection, it is the fashion equivalence to Gary Hume's artworks.images: style.com and sculpture.uk.com

Laura's New Book
One of my all time favorite illustrators Laura Ljungkvist was so kind to send me a little preview of her new book "Pepi Sings A New Song". It is about Pepi the friendly cockatoo exploring his neighborhood in search of new things to sing about with his owner, Peter. I can just imagine little kids having so much fun looking at the cute objects on each spread, like the musical instruments here (below), while learning new vocabulary at the same time. This is definitely the cool book for all my friends' little kids! The book comes out on April 20.

Dog Fancy
They may look like cute plastic toy figures in picture, but they are actually handmade crystal dog figurines, created by Harry Allen for Gaia & Gino. Each one is made of 135 crystal cubes and all glued by hand. If I had free access to these crystal cubes (Gaia & Gino, are you reading this post?) I would make a squirrel figurine, shocking, isn't it?! photos: Gaia & Gino
