I love owls and we have a collection of owls tchotchkies at home. At first glance of this photo, I wanted these toy owl figures so badly and wondered when did toys become so sophisticated?! And after reading about it on Vinyl Pulse, these are prototypes of wind up toys that Nathan Jurevicius designed for Toy Tokyo, so the final products will be in color. I'm sure that they will be beautiful, but I prefer these blank white ones better.

Toy Thursday- Part Deux

I agree! Why mess with perfection? I love them as is! I can see myself running out to buy these in white - but not so much in color.
